Your child is invited to participate in an international poster contest that could win him or her money for the school and the student. World Plumbing Day is an international event on March 11th initiated by the World Plumbing Council (WPC) celebrating the important role plumbing plays in protecting the health and safety of society.
Many schools would welcome the opportunity to have a visit from a representative of the plumbing industry to talk about the health (and/or environmental aspects of plumbing). WPC members have given talks about “Water and Health” in their local primary school and this is an excellent opportunity to promote World Plumbing Day and inform them about the poster contest. A copy of the PowerPoint presentation can be
downloaded here. A copy of the contest rules can also be downloaded here
and printed for distribution at the school or in a poster format.

Lyrics: PLUMBING A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE.
Plumbing works, plumbing works
Plumbing works we do the best.
Guardian of living, a healthy lifestyle
Clean water for drinking, nation needs
Safe sanitation, assurance we give
The best plumbing systems that all may receive
Leakage detection or chokage clearance
Water recycling and conservation too
Call our hotline, that's all you need do
We'll solve all your worries in an hour or two
Plumbing works, plumbing works
That's what we do best
Plumbing works, plumbing works
Let consumers rejoice
Whatever your problems and the service you need
The works when completed will meet all the tests
Plumbing works, plumbing works
Plumbing works we do the best
The works must be perfect, the job that we do
To every consumer that promise we make
The cost of our service, a small price to pay
One look at the invoice will make you rejoice
Plumbing works, plumbing works
That's what we do best
Plumbing works, plumbing works
Let consumers rejoice
Whatever your problems and the service you need
The works when completed will meet all the test
REFRAIN
Plumbing works, plumbing works
Plumbing works we do the best.
